Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 July 2026
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Astronomy Core (REST API, MCP server, dashboard, or OAuth connections), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service description
Astronomy Core provides astronomical and astrological computation APIs and MCP tools. Outputs are structured JSON for software integration — not professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or personal counselling).
3. Accounts and credentials
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure.
- API keys and OAuth-issued keys are personal to your account. You are responsible for usage under your keys.
- Do not share keys in public repositories, client-side apps, or untrusted third parties except via supported OAuth connectors you explicitly authorize.
- We may suspend or revoke access for abuse, quota violations, or security risk.
4. OAuth connections
Connecting Claude, ChatGPT, or Perplexity grants that platform access to call Astronomy Core with your account entitlements. Re-authorizing may replace an existing connection and invalidate prior sessions for that app. Revoke access anytime from your dashboard.
5. Acceptable use
- No attempts to bypass authentication, quotas, or module gates.
- No automated registration abuse or credential stuffing.
- No use that violates applicable law or infringes third-party rights.
- Respect rate limits and tier entitlements.
6. Tiers, quotas, and changes
Free and paid tiers may have different module access and quotas. We may change limits, pricing, or features with reasonable notice where required. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted.
7. Intellectual property
We retain rights in the platform, documentation, and branding. You retain rights in your application code. API response data is licensed for your use in your applications subject to these Terms.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. Computational results depend on input parameters and documented algorithms; we do not guarantee suitability for any particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits arising from use of the service. Aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim, or zero for free-tier users.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete API keys at any time. We may terminate or suspend accounts for breach of these Terms. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (liability limits, governing law) survive.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where Astronomy Core is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
