Can I add packages on the Free tier?
No. Free includes Astronomy Engine only. Upgrade to Starter or above to add Astrology Core, Astrocartography & Earth Grid, or Temporal & Numeric.
What counts as one credit?
One credit = one API or MCP request. Failed requests that never reach the API may not consume credits — see the docs for quota behavior.
When do credits reset?
Monthly credits reset on your registration anniversary (UTC). Daily caps reset at midnight UTC.

After email verification, Free accounts receive welcome credits to explore the API before upgrading to a paid tier.
